Black & White Magpie Ducks Hatching Eggs (Online Only)

0 reviews

Minimum purchase: 8

Bring home one of the most striking and productive duck breeds — the Magpie Duck. Known for its elegant black-and-white plumage that resembles its namesake bird, the Magpie is both beautiful and practical. When mature, the black markings may lighten or turn fully white, giving each bird a unique look.

Magpie Ducks are medium-sized, weighing 5.5–7 lb for drakes and 4.5–6 lb for hens, and are prized for both egg and meat production. Their clean white breast makes plucking easy, and they lay about 80 eggs per year, ranging in color from white to pale green. Some exceptional strains, like the famous “Paramount” line, have been known to lay up to 185 eggs annually and reach market weight in just 11 weeks.

Perfect for small farms, homesteads, or hobby breeders, Magpie Ducks are calm, hardy, and excellent foragers. They are also a favorite for poultry shows due to their eye-catching plumage and balanced build.

MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTS
Many hatching egg varieties have minimum order requirements established by the hatchery. Please review the product description carefully before placing your order to ensure all minimum quantity requirements are met. Orders that do not meet minimum requirements may be subject to cancellation.
HATCHING EGG POLICY
Our trusted hatchery partners work hard to provide quality hatching eggs from carefully managed breeding stock, and many customers achieve excellent hatch rates and successfully hatch healthy poultry from their purchases.

Because hatch success is influenced by many factors—including shipping conditions, egg handling, storage, incubation equipment, temperature, humidity, breeder fertility, and incubation practices—we cannot guarantee fertility rates, hatch rates, or successful hatches.

As these factors are outside of our control once eggs leave the breeder, refunds, replacements, or credits cannot be provided for eggs that fail to hatch or produce lower-than-expected hatch rates.

By purchasing hatching eggs, the buyer acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with incubating poultry eggs.
