The breed of chicken originated from Australia. The became well known as setting multiple world records for the number of eggs laid per year per hen back in the 1920's. Australorps were originally known as Orpingtons. The breed is known to be good nest sitters and good mothers and remains one of the most popular breeds of heritage chickens available today.
Australorps can come in a variety of colors, not just black. Some may be wheaten, buff, blue, black or gold laced

BIOSECURITY NOTICE
Customers must remain in the designated parking areas during pickup. Please leave all carriers and transportation containers in your vehicle. We will bring your birds to you and assist with loading to help maintain flock biosecurity.
