    Easter Egger chicks are not strictly a pure-breed chicken. They have a wide variety of egg colors and their plumage can be a wide variety as well. Some may carry the Blue Egg laying gene (as parents are Ameraucana / Araucana) however you may see light pink, olive, green, etc. They aren't the best choice for meat birds, but for an egg layer they are a great choice. They are docile, active and coldy hardy. They generally live a low-maintenance lifestyle.
