Meet Pepper – A Tiny Guy with a Big Personality Looking for His Forever Flock 🖤💛🐓
Pepper has been part of our family since he was just one week old, after my daughter's 1st grade class hatched him as part of a school project. Along with his brother, Salt, he quickly stole our hearts. Unfortunately, both boys turned out to be roosters, and our city doesn't allow them, so we're searching for the perfect forever home.

Pepper's striking black-and-gold feathers make him a real eye-catcher. He and his brother both have straight combs, leading us to believe they may be Old English Game Bantams, but without knowing their parentage, we can't say for certain.
He's still a young cockerel with lots of growing left to do, and his personality will continue to develop over the coming months. Because he's been handled since he was tiny, he's comfortable around people and would do well with a family willing to continue working with him.
We're hoping to find Pepper a home where he'll be appreciated for the handsome little gentleman he is and given the opportunity to grow into a proud flock protector.

OurSecond Chance Roosterprogram gives these beautiful boys a fresh start. Whether they were the “extra” in a backyard flock or simply didn’t fit in, they still deserve a chance to live out their lives safely, surrounded by hens and peace.

These roosters are placedstrictly in no-kill homes. If you’re looking for a processing bird, this is not the boy for you. We’re committed to finding each of these roos a safe, forever flock—not a final stop.

📅 Appointment required before pickup. We generally call or text shortly after an order is placed to schedule a pick up time, or you can give us a call to schedule sooner.
ONLINE ORDER POLICY
Online orders are reserved upon purchase. For our started Pullets & Layers, orders may be held for up to 72 hours while pickup arrangements are made. Orders not picked up within the agreed timeframe may be subject to cancellation or restocking at our discretion.
BIOSECURITY NOTICE
Customers must remain in the designated parking areas during pickup. Please leave all carriers and transportation containers in your vehicle. We will bring your birds to you and assist with loading to help maintain flock biosecurity.
