Wyandottes are arguable one of the prettiest chickens that you can find in your backyard flock. They are somewhat fluffy and round and have some unique color patters that are recognized by the American Poultry Association. The extra fluff can help keep them extra warm in the winter months. Extra shade is needed during hot summer months to make sure they can stay cool. 

Wyandotte's can come in a variety of colors, including, Silver-Laced, Gold-Laced, Buff, Partridge, Black, Silver-penciled, Columbian, and Blue. They generally have good temperaments and strong personalities. They are friendly by nature, but not overly 'cuddly'.
