We use a 20% protein laying pellet—a complete feed that delivers all the essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients chickens need to thrive. This feed stands out from many options found in feed stores, offering superior quality that supports optimal health and egg production.

Why pellets? Pellets are less wasteful than crumbles, and our chickens enjoy eating them directly off the ground just as much as a feeder. Over time, we’ve also noticed they consume less feed compared to crumbles, which makes pellets both efficient and economical.

Most chicken feeds on the market contain just 16% protein, which may suffice for average chickens. But here, we don’t raise “average.” Our chickens are exceptional egg layers with higher production rates, so they need a higher-protein diet to meet their needs.

Remember, spending more money on feed doesn’t always mean it’s better quality. It’s about choosing the right feed that supports your flock’s health and performance.
