Starlight Green Eggers lay a beautiful deep green olive colored egg. She is a designer breed similar to the Prairie Bluebell. Created by crossing Prairie Bluebell with a brown egg layer, this chicken will lay a large quantity of eggs with green shells. They are known for being good foragers and lightweight requiring less feed than other birds or larger breeds. Plumage color varies among individual birds so you can count on having a great variety of beautiful colors and patterns! 95% of all Starlight Eggers will lay a green colored egg. The other 5% will lay a brown egg. They make great chickens for families with children.
