Ordering & Shipping

Do you ship live poultry?

Yes! We ship live chicks. We do not ship started pullets or adult birds at this time. All live poultry is shipped via USPS Priority Mail Express to ensure quick, safe delivery.

What days do you ship?

We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid birds being held at the post office over a weekend. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.

What is your Live Arrival Guarantee?

We guarantee live arrival on all orders. If any birds arrive deceased, please contact us within 24 hours with photos and we will work with you on a resolution. See our Live Arrival Guarantee page for full details.

What breeds do you offer?

We offer a variety of roosters and started pullets. Check our shop for current availability as stock changes seasonally.

What is a "started pullet"?

A started pullet is a young female chicken that has been raised past the fragile chick stage, typically 6–16 weeks old. They are hardier than day-old chicks and closer to laying age.

Are your birds vaccinated?

At this time we do not vaccinate our poultry. We feel that this should be a decision best left up to our customers. We recommend consulting with your local veterinarian for your individual evaluation.

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of live animals, we are unable to accept returns. Please review our Return & Refund Policy before purchasing.

What if I have an issue with my order?

Pickup & Local Orders

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes, local pickup is available. We do offer local delivery (within 100 miles of our farm). You can get pricing on our delivery cost simply by adding birds to you cart and selecting local delivery at checkout. For quotes outside of this range, please reach out to us so we can discuss options.
